Application of below-grade waterproofing membranes and sealing systems.

Replacement and upgrade of drainage and sump pump systems.

Implementation of strict health & safety protocols, including resident protection and traffic/pedestrian controls.

Outcome
The project successfully eliminated groundwater intrusion and restored full usability of the basement. By managing and consulting on the process, we ensured the long-term structural resilience of the facility and delivered the works with minimal disruption to its vulnerable residents

Overview
This large-scale project addressed severe basement leakage in a six-storey long-term care residential facility in Mississauga. The scope required deep excavation, advanced structural support, and comprehensive waterproofing measures, all while ensuring the highest levels of safety for occupants and maintaining the building’s integrity.

Our Role
We led the project through Project Management and Consultation services. Acting as consultants, our team defined the technical specifications, coordinated with structural and geotechnical engineers, and ensured all works were delivered by the contractor to the required safety and quality standards. We took final acceptance of the project after full compliance with the approved design and safety measures.
